Children's sandboxes are easy to build with the right instructions and become a play space where children can express their creativity. Below you will find many sandboxes plans to help you build one.

To build a sandbox, you first need to know what shape you want it to be and buy or collect the necessary wood. With the help of L-shaped metal supports at each corner, you can create the desired frame. If you want a bottom on the sandbox, you will have to use weed block fabric or leave the bottom open to the ground underneath.

Then you can add a bench by simply placing a piece of wood on one of the corners and screwing it in. You can also make a cover out of plywood, or other scrap wood cut into the same shape as your sandbox. Finally, go over the top of the sandbox by removing any spikes that could scratch or cut your children, then fill the sandbox with sand and toys.
